Do directors make movies from stories inspired from books too? I know they are inspired by novels and there are DC or too but I never heard them getting inspired from books!

Hi! It's an information abuot the topic of Comic book Movies,

Marvel announced Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 will remain on schedule for on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019, respectively.

The move also means all other Sony Spider-Man spin-offs, including The Sinister Six, scheduled for Nov. 11, 2016, are almost certainly defunct and off the schedule.

I can't wait for all of these movies. Spider-man, Batman, Superman and X-Men are well-known franchises but who would have thought we'd have movies starring Ant-Man, Shazam and Captain Marvel.
