I would love a discussion of the free cities, the politics of essos is very interesting to me

I'd love to know anything there is on Valyria before and after the doom but I don't know if there's enough known information on the subject to do an episode. I can't remember if I heard it on your podcast or just read it somewhere that the Targaryens were considered a lesser house in Valyria and not as powerful as others. Mind boggling. That opens up a whole new realm of possibilities and stories. If George ever writes more about Planetos after ASOIF I'd love for that to be it.

I think covering the Blackfyre House would be a awesome topic. Such a interesting and topical family to cover at this point in the books. Fleshing out how it was started, the male and female lines, Sheira Seastar, the Rebellions, and the potential present implications.

I hope you will consider doing an episode about songs in ASOIAF. I have noticed that songs tend to conveniently foreshadow and hint at events to come so I thought it would be a good topic to investigate!

Could you do a detailed show on Roose Bolton and all of the theories behind him. Namely the one saying that he is...for lack of a better word...a vampire? You already see the reference to werewolves with the Starks and Frankenstein's monster with Robert Strong...potentially. The theories go on to say that he is the son of the Night's King and that he has mastered the art of skin changing to take on the appearance of his heirs. Those heirs that happen to survive past infancy. A potential reference to Crastor and the others. This would explain the use of leeches to help prevent the aging process. With the coming of winter Roose is ready to take the throne with help from the others.

Would love an episode on Mormont's Raven and the potential significance of his interjections!

The final celebration of the agricultural year is Lughnasadh (Lammas in England), the feast of the god Lugh and the first fruits of the harvest (generally wheat or corn). Lughnasadh is celebrated July 31-August 1. In Scotland, the first stalks of corn are called "John Barleycorn", of course, and were used to make the first beer of the fall season. Now, John Barleycorn refers to that greatest of Scots drinks (many distilleries are closed for August, reopening for the fall whisky-making season on September 1). This festival, as celebrated in England, gives me the willies, reminding me of that great horror novel by Thomas Tryon, Harvest Home. At Lammas, the Corn King dies (to be reborn at spring), ensuring plenty for the winter. - See more at: http://www.heartoscotland.com/Categorie ... UNXAX.dpuf

Sound relevant? The raven does say 'Corn' and 'King' a lot......

I am sure there is more to the Raven and what he is trying to tell them.
