That's it. Why didn't Martin show the fight between the Kingsguard twins? I wonder if it's all about the misticism created by time (about a hundred and a half years have passed since the Dance of the Dragons happened, and maybe whatever occured between those two was a little bit upraised) , a game Martin always wants to play, or it really happened. What do you think, guys?
IMHO I think it really happened, but the chronicle format came up short for duel, but such a duel!?(I mean, two Kinsguard members, two brothers, not by vow but by blood, even their faces are the same. That's something inusual even for inusual things) Maybe it was something he consciously missed to write down, but I really wanted to know about it.

Well that wasn't the full version of the Dance of the Dragons story. Only the trimmed version for the PatQ release. The entire story is supposed to more complete, and will be featured in "Fire and Blood", the Targ history book which will be released after the main series is done.

Also don't forget about Sandor and Gregor Clegane who are not only brother, but nearly both members of the Kingsguard at the same time. They hate eachother, or at least Sandor hates Gregor, and are likely to fight before the series is over. GRRM's history tends to repeat itself.

I don't think that combat will end with both of them crying while slaying each other . But for sure the Cleganes are going to fight.

I've always been a bit doubtful about the Cleganes fighting. Sandor has a new peaceful life on the Quiet Isle, he deserves that rest... I don't see him wanting to leave even for the opportunity to kill his brother (who isn't really Gregor anymore). But I suppose there is plenty of time left to see.

As far as I know Ser Arryk and Ser Erryk are twin brother and they should not fight with each other simply of having the same blood streaming on their veins.
