Rumoured prequel series based on Dunk and Egg

Yeah, this is over a year old apparently... and if we haven't heard anything more of it yet, I doubt we ever will.
Personally, I think the odds of HBO postponing Game of Thrones to do Dunk and Egg is slim to none. All the actors for GoT would be out of work for a year without any other reason besides giving GRRM more time, and that's going to cause big trouble (and probably a huge drop in viewers, and probably subscribers for HBO). Everything David and Dan have ever said indicates they want to go full steam ahead, even if it worries George. George also threw out mentions of a possible GoT movie near the end, and that proved to be a very shaky idea that got him in a spot of trouble with HBO.
Might we see Dunk and Egg on TV after GoT is done, however? That definitely seems possible, though I can't imagine it ever being as popular or well-liked.

Dunk and Egg is a fun little diversion but Robert's Rebellion is where it's at. That story is at least as good as the actual ASOIAF story.
